Everyone is always welcome at
First Presbyterian Church of Lenoir!

Who We Are
First Presbyterian Church of Lenoir was founded in 2017. We are a PC USA congregation and part of the Reformed Tradition. We believe in the sovereignty of God over all peoples and nations, and we affirm that Jesus Christ is Lord. We seek to follow Him as we live out His teachings and actions in our daily lives through our concern and involvement in social justice issues both locally and globally.
We welcome all individuals and families to full membership, regardless of background, race, ethnicity, gender identity, orientation, ability, age, or affiliation. Ordained and lay leadership is open to people of all genders and orientations. Marriages are honored and performed regardless of gender identity. Families are recognized, whether biological or family of choice. We celebrate diversity and strive to always maintain an inclusive and affirming congregation.
Our members support the local community through service partnerships with organizations like Caldwell County Yokefellow, Lenoir Soup Kitchen, and Davenport Elementary school.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind... You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Would you like to connect with a progressive, Christ-centered, welcoming, active congregation? Please join us!
We have a devoted, committed congregation focused on providing a safe place to worship, discover, and pursue God’s miracles and mystery.
We are a traditional Church. We are strong, Christ-centered, biblical, faithful, caring, and grateful.
Services are traditional and creative, biblically based, and given not just as word from the past, but as the Living Word speaking to life today with a strong lens on social justice.
We come with our faith and our doubts. Together, we search, share, study, serve, and learn.
Sanctuary view.
“What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
